Gregg's Greenhouse is owned and operated by me, Gregg DeChirico, sole proprietor, chief propagator and pot scrubber, located in Carpinteria, California.

Collectors Welcome!  I've been collecting and growing rare and unusual tropical plants for over 35 years, so you never know what you'll find available here at greggsgreenhouse.com!
This is a collection-based nursery, which means that most of the plants offered for sale are propagated from seeds or cuttings originating from stock plants in my extensive personal collection.  Over many years as a collector, I have been able to obtain many interesting and unusual specimen plants from around the globe that provide the basis for the propagated plants offered for sale on this website.
Please understand I am a one-man operation and plants offered for sale are available only online. My nursery is not open for visitors, except during a scheduled, advertised "Open House." Usually in November. I also participate as a vendor at many local and regional plant sales and garden shows in California. (Delivery of paid plant orders for you to pick up at one of these events can be arranged. Check out my schedule of events....)

Plants offered for sale at greggsgreenhouse.com are seedlings, propagations or specimens unless otherwise noted. I stand by my plants and your satisfaction is important to me.

In addition to cultivating plants, it is widely known that I am also a big fan of non-venomous reptiles and keep a variety of tortoises, lizards and snakes. I take great pride in my animals, their care and husbandry equal to my plants.  In successful years, I often have babies available which you will find in the Reptile Room at greggsgreenhouse.com

For shipping plants, I use USPS Priority Mail, shipped year-round with the help of Heat Source 60+ Packs, whenever temperatures demand, at no cost to you. 

For shipping Reptiles, I use SYR via Fedex Overnight. Adhering to their strict guidelines for shipping non-venomous animals.

Invoices include my contact information, but if you have a question or comment, or need to reach me right away, send a detailed email to greggsgreenhouse@gmail.com, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
